18th Space Defense Squadron

The 18th Space Defense Squadron at Vandenberg Space Force Base is the Space Force's lead space domain awareness squadron for the geocentric space terrain. It executes command and control of the Space Surveillance Network, maintains custody of resident space objects, and supports launch tracking, human spaceflight, reentry assessment, and spaceflight safety.
